My experience allows me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, children, and families. I have worked for 9+ years with children aged 0-7 and their families offering individual support for the child, their families, and additional parenting support. I enjoy meeting families where they are at and creating a unique plan to help them achieve their goals.
My focus is to help individuals/families heal and become aware of their inner strengths, as well being a listening ear for common life issues. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, sharing in your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Self care is a divine responsibility. The best project you'll ever work on is you.
"I hope you live a life that you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." - F. Scott Fitzgerald
If I have left a wound inside of you, it is not just your wound but mine as well.
Feelings are just visitors. Let them come and go.
"Someone I love once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift." - Mary Oliver
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to offer you support with finding joy in life or overcoming fears that are holding you back.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Additionally, I am certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy to support families who have a shared traumatic event.
Parenting counseling can be beneficial to parents who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection with their children, and develop a better understanding of how to best support their child. Therapy sessions can be held with one or both parents and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your family relationships.
I do take Select Health Insurance as well.
